Esafety
At Birchanger Primary School, we recognize the critical importance of e-safety in today’s digital world and are dedicated to keeping our children safe online. We integrate e-safety education throughout our curriculum, ensuring that students understand the potential risks of the online environment and know how to navigate it safely and responsibly. To reinforce this learning, we participate in initiatives like Online Safety Week, which places a particular focus on the challenges children may face online, including issues related to social media, privacy, and cyberbullying.
Additionally, we invite experts to deliver talks on e-safety, with a special emphasis on safe gaming practices, helping our students understand the importance of maintaining a healthy and secure online presence. At Birchanger, we fully embrace our responsibility to safeguard all children, and we view e-safety as a crucial component of this commitment. By equipping our students with the knowledge and skills they need to stay safe online, we ensure they are prepared to interact with the digital world in a way that protects their wellbeing.
