Menus

We are very proud of our lunches which are all freshly made on-site by our Catering Manager, Mrs Liz McArthur and her assistant Mrs Corinne Salmon. Mrs Mc Arthur works very hard to support our children with hot, tasty and delicious food that conforms to the guidelines of nutrition from the government.

If your child has any dietary issues which includes any intolerances, or learning behaviours that make eating a challenge, then please let us know. Mrs Mc Arthur is very happy to speak to any parents about the dietary needs of your child and she will do her very best to support your child at lunchtime. Every child is well-known in our school and we are well-equipped to support each child as they eat their lunch.

Every day  we provide a non-meat alternative at lunchtime and there is always fresh fruit and vegetables provided by our well-known suppliers.  Each week during the summer term, and first part of the Autumn Term, we have a #Wellbeing Wednesday whereby all children are given a packed lunch and enjoy a picnic outside with music and ice-lollies! (Children who bring in their own packed lunch can join them).

The termly menus are handed out and run on a 3 week rota. Your child's school lunches are booked online through Arbor and can be allocated weekly or termly. Online booking can be completed anytime throughout the week but if you are doing it weekly it must be completed before 20:00 on the Sunday before the next week starts.

To book your meals please download the school Arbor app.  The price of a school lunch is £2.50 per day (£12.50 per week). If your child is absent from school due to illness we will adjust the meal booking on the day so that you will not be charged for the meal.  If you have a child in Reception, year 1 or year 2 they have automatic qualification to free school meals so no payment is necessary.

Children may also choose to bring a packed lunch.  We are a 'Healthy School' and ask parents to consider carefully what goes into packed lunches (no sweets or chocolate please).  We can provide children with water to accompany their lunch.

As we have children who are allergic to nuts, we are a nut free school and ask that packed lunches do not include products or sandwiches that contain nuts.
