We look forward to welcoming you to our open morning for prospective parents and children due to start school in September 2017. Come along from 9:30am to look around our lovely village school and meet our children, staff and governors.
Mrs Helen Coop, the Headteacher, will give a short talk at 10:15am and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
For more details contact Mrs Field in the school office on 01279 812362.
We are a small, friendly primary school in the village of Birchanger, on the Essex/Hertfordshire border not far from Stansted Mountfitchet and Bishop’s Stortford.
We aim to provide our children with the skills they need to be confident, happy and successful in whatever they choose to do. We also believe in having fun and giving our children the opportunity to participate in the widest range of experiences possible.
We are a Church School and our core values guide us on our journey. Explore our website to find out more about us and come and see what we are all about.
Love – We treat each other with respect and kindness. We always listen to each other’s point of view. We help and support each other in our learning.
Care – We care for our school, local environment and our community. We understand our duty to care for and value the amazing world we live in. We learn about and care for people worldwide who suffer and whose lives are hard and look for ways to actively help them.
Courage – We learn to support each other to share and overcome our doubts and fears. We learn to support each other to always do the very best we can. We learn to be confident and happy about the person we are. We learn to celebrate and share in other people’s success.
Truth – We learn the importance of being truthful in all situations. We learn how to make right and good decisions for us and for others. We are encouraged to be true to ourselves. We learn the importance of always searching for the truth in all our learning and other activities.
